Swords Theatre Company presents Knife Edge “Knife Edge”, the dark and thought-provoking play by playwrights Tony Cash and Susan Keogh.
Themed on the subjects of abuse and mental health, the play tells the poignant story of a woman with a deeply troubled past, who is struggling to find a sense of identity.
Tony Cash - “The play is a psychological drama about a woman who is confused about her own identity. She meets this guy and both of them think there’s something familiar about each other, but after a while it turns out they knew each other in another life.It turns out that she has a very troubled past which she’s trying to escape from, which has caused her an identity crisis really. I don’t want to give too much away, but there’s a twist in the tale and I think it works well.”
“I always had this fascination with how people see themselves and how other people see them and the difference between the two. Certainly your past can influence your present to that extent.“Knife Edge” is not what you would call a light comedy, by any stretch of the imagination, but that for those who like drama, it is compelling viewing."
