Leixlip Musical and Variety Group proudly presents The Wedding Singer - from April 25th to 29th - Directed and choreographed by Claire Tighe, with musical direction from Dermot O’Callaghan.
The Wedding Singer takes us back to a time when hair was big, greed was good, collars were up, and a wedding singer might just be the coolest guy in the room. Based on the hit Adam Sandler movie, The Wedding Singer’s sparkling score does for the ’80s what Hairspray did for the ’60s. Just say ‘yes’ to the most romantic musical in 20 years!
LMVGs The Wedding Singer features a stellar cast, including Jamie Hennessey (Robbie), Orla Jennings (Julia), Jacqueline Brunton (Holly), Kevin Sherwin (George), Brian Dalton (Sammy), Aoife Masterson (Linda), Ciarán Tighe (Glen), Jenny McCabe (Rosie) and Judy Miller (Angie).
LMVG is an AIMS-award-winning musical society, operating in Leixlip Co Kildare since 1980. In 2017 and 2018 the group won national Best Overall Show awards for two years running.
