Leixlip Musical and Variety Group is thrilled to present The Producers – a Mel Brooks Musical. This epic production will run in Leixlip for the very first time, from 23rd to 27th April. 

Directed and choreographed by Claire Tighe, The Producers stars Ian Tighe (as Max Bialystock), Seán McMahon (as Leo Bloom), Aoife Masterson (as Ulla), Fionn O’Dwyer (as Franz Liebkind), Ross Murray (as Roger Debris) and Mark Keegan (as Carmen Ghia). This hilarious production features a wonderful cast and ensemble, performing with a live orchestra conducted by Musical Director Dermot O’Callaghan.

The Producers tells the story of Max Bialystock, a struggling Broadway producer, and Leo Bloom, a soft-spoken accountant. Together, they scheme to create the biggest flop in Broadway history to scam their investors and make a fortune. They set out to find the worst script, director, and actors to bring their production to life. However, things take an unexpected turn when their musical becomes a surprising hit.   • Patrons should arrive early to take their seats – doors open each evening at 7:30pm.
  • The show starts promptly at 8:00pm each night – latecomers may not be immediately admitted.
    The show is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes long, including a short interval.
